  • Should I see a doctor before going to physiotherapy?
No, it is not necessary. For a private service, you do not need a doctor's prescription to see a physiotherapist. This will make a thorough assessment and, if necessary, can advise you to consult a doctor. In addition, if you consult following a work accident (CNESST) or automobile accident (SAAQ), you must have a medical report to access this service. For more information, please contact us.
  • What is the process for the first session and the following sessions?
During the first physiotherapy session, the professional will take the time to assess your condition in order to give you a detailed clinical impression. Thereafter, a treatment plan (including in particular advice and exercises to do at home, as well as the number of treatments suggested in the clinic) will be suggested in order to allow you to return to your regular activities as quickly as possible. A first treatment will also be given to you during this session. Allow about 1 hour for each appointment.
  • Why choose VIVA Physio Health?
When you come to our clinic, you are assessed and treated by a licensed professional. We have a multidisciplinary team made up of qualified and competent professionals. We're so confident in our customer service that we offer a Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy on your experience with us.
  • What dress code is suggested for physiotherapy treatments?
Sporty clothes are ideal during treatments. It is easier to move with loose clothes than with a pair of jeans! In case you forget, we always have spare clothes specific to the clinic.
  • Are your services covered by insurance?
Yes, in the vast majority of cases, your group insurance or private insurance will reimburse the cost of treatment at our clinic. On the other hand, it will be up to you to make sure of this with your insurance company, and it is up to you to send them the receipt that we will give you after you have paid for your treatment.
  • My injury is from a work or road accident, can I come to your clinic?"
Yes, absolutely, because we are official service providers for the SAAQ and the CNESST. In these specific cases, it is necessary to call our clinic directly so that a member of the administrative staff explains in detail the documentation that you must bring during your first visit.
